Do you think a beginner who uses AI to do copywriting can charge 300$ for a 1000-2000-word ad copy?

Hello,
If you are good at using AI to do copywriting, do you think you can charge 300$ as a beginner, or is this price too high?

Thank you

AI gen, anyone can do anything to increase their productivity and creativity by using ai and earn much more while convincing or producing quality of their work.

It is according to them and their clients but my point of view the charges is very high is the beginner level.

Hello, I didn`t understand the last sentence. Do you think 300$ is too high for something built by AI and modified and tweaked by me ?

300$ is too much to ask?

for 1000-2000 words

If you go the extra mile and edit it so that it reads like it was written by a human and your copywriting is 100% factual.... then yes.

Hello, yes, I will be going the extra mile ( I`m from Eastern Europe ). But there is just 1 problem. I`m not very good at copywriting I tried I a while back.
Copywriting is salesmanship in print, but I`m not good at sales. I`m learning I`m trying, but I`m not good.

This is why I have found a golden ticket with AI. With AI, I hope I can make 300-800$ a month from copywriting. Get 2-3 clients from LinkedIn a month and sell them my services as a Copywriter, not as an AI copywriter.

But a lot of people are now doing AI copywriting and saying that they do regular copywriting without the help of AI

So much on the high side but if your client is high end and doesn't mind you, then it is fine.

It’s high, my friend
Also, I`m from Eastern Europe. Even if I tweak it manually, you still think it`s high? I really value everyone's opinion and would like to get as much info on this as possible. I will create my LinkedIn profile as a Copywriter for Small businesses.

How much do you think I should charge?

I think I get high-quality leads and good clients, not bottom feeders, but I`m not sure yet. From what I`ve seen from other people doing consulting and stuff like that, their best clients came from LinkedIn and word of mouth.

Friend, if you are using ai to generate copywriting but still you are editing in your touch in that then it won’t cost high. Because while reading you are correcting the ai flow into human touch with sentiments so 300$ is completely fine.

Ok, so with a little personal touch, it`s an OK figure. Thank you very much, DigitalNeeds. It means a lot to me. Thank you

It’s honestly not about AI at all. Clients don’t care how you write; they care if the copy actually helps them. If your work is clear, makes sense, and gets results, $300 isn’t crazy, even as a beginner. But if I am being honest, AI copies do help, but not much. So be careful of that.

Not at all. However these days it's very easy to recognise an Ai written salesletter that hasn't been "humanised". What I do if I use AI is go through it and put my spin on it. Use it as a template and then make it your own. Everyone is using AI now... be different and set yourself from those too lazy to do anything themselves. As you build up a portfolio, then you can justify increased price points.

Look, the question of whether the price will be perceived by your prospect as "too high" only depends on what it is being compared to in his mind.

If your copywriting service is being subconsiously compared with just typing things in Chatgpt, then there is no way you'll be able to even sell that for $100.

When, in sales, my prospect brings out the " it's too expensive" objection, I always ask them, "expensive compared to what?" to understand in their mind where my service is located and to what it is being compared to..

It's your job to make sure that your service is not even comparable with just asking Chatgpt to write me copy.. must be a unique combination, tailored for your prospect's specific niche

I think you can achieve your desired fee level if the content you provide is relevant and effective for your customers. Secondly, we can achieve good revenue and cost efficiency if you leverage AI.

Don't overthink it. Even human writers rarely earn that much per word. $50-100 for AI copy is much more realistic

You can charge as much as you want if you are a good salesman and can convince people to pay huge amounts. Your skill here is not writing creative content but selling them.

Only if you find a sucker to pay for that
