I read a bank loan not sure, then today I read Paramount may outbid them lol so you never know what’s their actual plan is

Would be nice if we need one subscription to watch Netflix and HBO, but I trust Netflix to increase sub prices if that happens.

Venture Capitalists are going to be involved for sure.
There will also likely be some debt, which means big banks and Netflix will have to invest a significant amount of money in it as well.
100% guaranteed that the financial aspect is going to be 500 pages of complicated numbers, terms, and conditions, and will probably have to have 40 lawyers put it all together.

If you're a film fan, this is one of the worst pieces of news in the history of the medium. It's been a terrible year for studio cinema as it is and this just tops it off.

it just seems like these golden era / legacy brands are finally selling because they may see profits dropping in the future
you would think they would never sell, but right now, where companies are buying other companies for billions of dollars
i can kinda see why warner bros decided to sell at this time with the offer they received, because if they decided to wait a decade (or longer) i think they would get a significantly smaller amount
