I was surprised to hear that semrush was acquired for 2 billion. This seems to be the highest amount deal if we leave AI related deals. Do you also plan to sell your current IM company one day?

How many companies reach to that level? One in 50000 may be. So no point in chasing something like that.

Yeah, SEMrush getting bought for that amount was wild. if the timing and offer make sense, selling an IM company is always on the table.

Exiting a company can be tempting if the offer aligns with your goals, but many choose to keep growing it when there’s still room to scale.

Waiting to grow the company further can often be more rewarding than selling immediately, as increasing its value opens up bigger opportunities down the line.

Yes, it needs patience to be offered such a big amount

Exactly, rushing usually leaves money on the table. Patience lets the value compound before any exit.
Yes, if we are patient, we can get deal from a party which is more interested and thus ready to pay more. When we are looking for buyer, we will settle with less paying also.

That's the ultimate dream. Build it, automate SOPs, and flip it for a 35-40x monthly multiple. Holding onto an agency forever is a recipe for burnout

Urgency shifts leverage away from you the moment youre not forced to sell better buyers and better pricing naturally show up.
