Just wondering. Does using old.reddit interface make you less human even if I'm manually browsing/commenting? I'm somebody that's used to using the old interface instead of the new one. It's very easy for me to navigate.

Okay so it seems like this method still works. Just limit your comment frequency to 1 comment per 24 hours max for the first few days. Scroll a few times per day would help too. Then after that, you can comment more frequently per day. And then you can start ramping this up. Just make sure you keep CQS above moderate. So far, I've grown 5 accounts using this method sucessfully. I'm just not sure when my accounts are immune to Reddit's autoban system but I imagine soon it'll be.

I tried this method for aged empty accounts but it miserably failed. This is because old accounts tend to carry some baggage with password resets. Reddit would literally ask for a pass/email reset the moment you login, even if you browse. Then after resetting and scrolling, all it takes is just 1 comment and the account is fried. I guess if I were to use an old account, it would have to have a lot of comment/post history + some karma or else it'll trigger Reddit's autoban.

Also, I never imported cookies but I see it's an option for Anti-detect browsers. Wouldn't importing Cookies from 1 profile to another also cause Reddit to believe your account is doing something suspicious? Like are cookies tied to a certain IP address? If 2 profiles have the exact same cookies but different fingerprint/proxy, are they both considered 'different' profiles? I'm

I'm thinking of creating a profile just for the sole purpose of gathering cookies then exporting them and importing them whenever I create a new profile.

This is the way I create Reddit accounts in 2025. The accounts made since January 2025 though this method are still alive. I use my Windows 10 laptop and top-notch 4G proxies for this process. I prefer Incogniton as my anti-detect browser, but any similar software works as long as it matches the proxy's country/state, date, and time. There are no other major tweaks (I use the default ones).

Initial Setup​

1. I set the proxy OS spoofing to match my laptop (Windows 10, 64-bit).
2. I configure a new profile in my anti-detect browser.

Browser Configuration​

1. I start by building a cookie profile:
   • I visit major social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) and accept their cookies.
   • I then browse various websites based on my future account's persona (news, sports, perfume, car sites, etc.). I accept their cookies, too.
   • The goal is to create a browsing history with 30-50 visited sites + cookies from each site.
2. Once I've built a sufficient history, I log into my Gmail account. For this, I use my own created Gmails.

Reddit Account Creation​

1. I begin searching for trending topics (e.g., "iPhone 16E").
2. On Google, I search: "iPhone 16E" + "Reddit"
3. I access Reddit, which detects my Gmail account, but I don't log in yet.
4. I scroll through the Reddit thread, then return to Google search results.
5. I click on another Reddit link and read the top comments. Being a trending topic, there should be more than one Reddit links.
6. I attempt to like the top comment, which prompts me to sign up.
7. I create an account using my Gmail.
8. After signing up, I return and like the top comment.

Account Warmup​

1. I scroll through Reddit for a while (opening pictures, videos) without much interaction on the first day (no likes or comments).
2. After 12-24 hours, I search for small or niche subreddits that interest me.
3. I sub-comment (First times I only reply to the other comments, I don't comment to the main post) on a new post (Sort by Top > Now) in a subreddit that isn't heavily moderated.
4. I avoid commenting or creating threads in large subreddits like News to prevent instant bans.

Important Notes​

• I always aim to act like a human, not a bot. Scrolling alone isn't enough; interaction is key.
• I ensure my anti-detect browser is properly configured to match the proxy location and time, and I also check it for the leaks on browserleaks.com.

It looks like I wrote fast, without mentioning more details .

There are 2 ways to fake your fingerprints:
1. The proxy;s tcp fingerprint: You can fake how it looks like. It can be Windows (in the context of the thread), Android, iOS or MacOS.
2. The antidetect browser fingerprint: You can also fake it, by choosing the antidetect profile's OS details (on Incogniton, there are Windows, macOS or Linux).

The best way is to make these 2 corresponding. If you spoof the tcp fingerprint of the proxy with iOS, but the antidetect profile OS is Windows or Linux, that is a red flag.

Also, I'm a bit confused about the tcp fingerprint. proxy-seller and brightdata just mentioned that it's residential or mobile, but they didn't offer the ability to change the fingerprint. Does this mean that there are proxy sellers out there that do offer an option about the OS level that the proxy is sitting on top of? (or, at least pretending to be sitting on top of)?

The IPs are IPv4. I use them on multiple machines, and I gave the Windows one as an example. That's said, there is totally natural thing to use an IPv4 IP on an Windows machine, if the tcp fingerprint of the proxy match the machine fingerprint (in this case, win10 - win10). In the case I use it on an Android device, or an iOS device, I will config the tcp fingerprint to match the device. What some others proxy providers are offering to their clients is out of my business.

Im not sure if now days any kind of automation can survive reddit.

In my personal experiece all the automated accounts are just throw away accounts not used for anything since first comment ban, first post ban

That one, for example (this is just one example):

Regarding IPhey, or any other 3rd party checker, I don't rely on them. If a proxy is marked safe by them, but don't work for my particular project, that proxy is bad. If a proxy is marked bad by them, but work for my particular project, that proxy is a good one.

you dont enable Canvas Noise and WebGL Image noise to run profiles for reddit, changing hardware information is more than enough

Reddits ban system is mainly based around IP score + cookies/cache + activity.

Many of the proxies are trash and get you banned regardless how cautious you are.
I can create accounts with a mobile IP or home IP, with ease and post 2-4 posts without any flags. Do the same with an account on a VPN or bad proxy and you are going to get banned.

Even with good mobile proxies, if the hardware headers in the antidetect browser look generic, the accounts get flagged within the first 24 hours. Have you experimented with different fonts/canvas noise settings in your setup?
