for starters, "we" are not responsible. not even close actually.
you where making money, i asume in a blackhat fashion, you made some nice bucks for a while and it collapsed. leaving you with nothing..
i guess that happened to you in a few words..
if you really are in this bussiness for 2 years, making 500 a month should be peanuts. if not, you havent been paying attention,..
and in my opinion the biggest mistake you made would be, quiting your job based on a single shady tactic that made good money.. and you hoped would keep sending you money until reirement..
this is why you need to spread your efforts.
and at least invest a little money and time in some whitehat projects..
i like to fool around and trying and testing shady stuff just to see if i can get away with it, no doubt...
its the blackhat stuff, and the kick you get out of getting paid on shady stuff knowing you outsmarted the others, that makes this industry fun..
most tasks we marketers need to do, especially when starting out, are boring
and repetitive. thats why most people fail or focus on temporary loops that get fixed eventually and leave them hunting for new things all the time... while never getting ahead with their business.
much like the trap you got caught in..
most of my money also comes from these shady things. but unlike others, i`m very much aware of the fact that some simple changes or a minor slip-up on my part could collapse all of that instantly, leaving me with nothing.
thats why i got a few 100% whitehat thing roling as well, and kept them totaly seperated from all other things i do.
if everything else blows up, these will always survive and will always make me 2 to 3k a month, no matter what. just enough for me to live on if i really had to.
thats my security..
this enables me to take on other things without worry and take calculated risks.. i`ve always have my safety net to catch me.
so be smart, and build something ike that for yourselve as well.. a $500 whitehat stream should be easy for you with your 2 year experience..
and to get out of your immediate money needs you face now, turn your skills into money.
in those 2 years you probably have learned some stuff, like your own link building strategy, or you have some software you can sell services from..
even blog commenting could earn you a few houndred in the comming 2 weeks.
you`ll get over it, just hang on
