No luck on a sub-forum so thought I'd chance reaching out to some like-minded individuals.

I have the audience, so the marketing/promotion isn't the issue.

1. Offer free ebooks: my promotion promotes the free products.
2. Email address / opt-in in order to receive it
3. Email a new PLR product each day. The order in which these are sent out depends on which sells. If they don't sell, they are removed.

The idea is that my emailing / social media gets the initial email, it doesn't promote a paid product.

It's the email list that promotes paid products.

The advertising promotes the PLR products and how people can pay something like $7 but then sell it on again and again.

Plus of course, the actual content of the ebook.

The ebook will initially be about Facts. Something like: '100 Random Facts You Never Knew' - free and promoted to a facts-based social media profile.

Any constructive feedback/thoughts welcome.

I think the method is quite outdated, I think it would be better to make your own brand/product etc and promote it

Sure - that can come from the Email List.

But the actual freebie needs to come first.

Looks like a strong strategy. Freebie → email → PLR is a proven flow. Just keep an eye on engagement in the first 3–5 emails so you know which products resonate and which ones to drop.

That's your money in this play.

Collecting decent data is gold and you can repurpose that in a dozen different ways.

But with AI, you can rewrite them so that they are unique to an extent, which is what I would do.

Not sure I follow. The original free guide will be given as a freebie. We then create a quality product which people can resell.

What would be the benefit of rewriting them?

I would rewrite them because there is a possibility that they received the same PLR PDF from someone in the past, and it would lessen your credibility when you started to market to them.

I've done the free ebook game in the past and it can work very well:

solid base. lead w curiosity (facts pull wide), split-test subjects daily. let engagement decide funnel path. don’t stack PLR raw rewrite hooks, change covers, reframe. add lite scarcity on resell rights to bump conversions. the list is the real asset here, not the ebooks.

We'll be creating unique content, so they won't have received the same thing.

The initial product will be unique. I agree, it's the list that will be valuable.

If I had no traffic I probably wouldn't bother, but I have a decent audience on Social Media (not great since Musk ruined it) but a lot elsewhere.
