Telegram's CEO Pavel Durov just launched Cocoon, a decentralized AI network on the blockchain.
Basically, it lets you use AI tools privately without giving away your data, and GPU owners can even earn TON tokens by renting out their power.
Developers get cheap, censorship-free AI compute, and Telegram gonna be the first to use it - adding stuff like message summaries and writing tool inside the app.
Honestly this could be the game changer For AI + Blockchain Privacy.

What do you guys think- real deal or just hype?

I think decentralizing AI won't much work as the GPU power it needs is enormous. Also if something like bitcoin blockchain can come out it will be pretty great. But its fast pace adapting doesn't seems to be happening anytime soon. In the longer run it may happen.

Yeah true, it's gonna take time to scale for sure.

This move actually makes a lot sense. They already have a massive userbase and strong privacy focus, so building an AI network on TON fits perfectly. If Cocoon works as promised- it could change how companies like openai and google handle data heavy AI tasks.

I like where this is going. The concept of earning TON tokens by sharing GPU power is pretty cool- gives regular users a way to be part of the AI ecosystem.

I would not share my GPU power, bc I don't know what users are going to generate and if it's legal?
The part is definitely a concern.

It actually makes AI more community driven. Curious to see how profitable it'll be for GPU owners once it's live.

Combining AI and blockchain isn't new, but doing it with privacy in focus makes it interesting. If they can actually make AI tools run securely without leaking user data, it could set a new standard.

That's what makes Cocoon interesting-finally an AI setup that actually cares about privacy instead of collecting everything. If it really works smoothly on TON. it could be a big step towards safer, decentralized AI. Let's see if Telegram can actually make it mainstream.

I like the idea, but it might take some time to really catch on. Building a decentralized AI system isn't easy- it needs strong performance and trust. But if Telegram can make it work, it'll prove that AI on blockchain can actually be real, not just talk. Definitely worth watching.

The idea of earning TON tokens for computer power is smart too. Gives people a reason to join early. Let's see how it performs once it's live. But this definitely looks promising.

Telegram really pulls this off, it could make AI more private and open for everyone. Still, I’ll wait to see how well it actually works once people start using it.
