Yes, they did. But given the fact how the BTC network adapts to available computing power it’d make more sense for someone who has access to that level of hardware to simply contribute to mining instead of trying to crack wallets I’m personally not to worried about it being an issue.

No , there was no concept of quantum computers at that time. Otherwise , Satoshi was smart enough to think of a solution for this.

The first quantum computer appeared 25 yars ago, so I'm sceptical about it.
