Is there any way I can create realistic images using cartoon or anime characters as reference? I’ve been using ChatGPT, and while it handles character references really well — the result often looks very close to the original character — the art style is honestly look like shit. Even with the same prompt, the results can be completely different. It feels like generating images in ChatGPT is a gamble — the outcome can be extremely good or extremely bad. Not to mention, there’s also a limit of 12 images and the generation time is quite slow.

That’s why I’m looking for tools that offer strong prompt adherence, but can also generate realistic images while preserving the original character’s core details and features.

So if you know any apps or platforms like that — please let me know!

gpt is not the best for image generation, especially specific stylized. midjourney is probably the best in terms of aesthetic. it also has image prompt now so you can use your reference images. there are also other platforms that have free plans like leonardo

Try Clipfly, fotor, or bylo ai they turn cartoon anime characters into realistic images while keeping key details.

Try Leonardo.ai or Krea.ai both do a great job at keeping anime features while adding realistic texture and lighting.
Fooocus (open source) and ComfyUI + SDXL + RealisticVision also give you total control over prompt consistency and style blending.
Much better consistency than ChatGPT image gen especially if you tweak the LoRA weights a bit.

Another approach is using Artbreeder or DeepAnime they let you blend anime features with realistic textures while maintaining consistent character traits.

Leonardo A.I. is the best tool for this job.
