Tried this with dead subreddits but got no luck is like nobody is responding either they are not active on reddit anymore or i'm just unlucky, is there a secret formula on how to get access to them ?

via r/redditrequest it should work. There's no secret formula.

Creating your own subreddit and growing it is better if it's a micro niche. If there are 10+ subs already hyper active, then growing a sub becomes difficult as you hardly show up in search. Even if you consider other options, it's better to do some research and check if it's worth the time and effort.

Getting a subreddit and send the traffic to build your own email list. Then promote stuff to that list. You'll be building a real business. Focus on growing the subreddit further and get it ranking on google. Especially now that google ranks anything from reddit
