What posting frequency maximizes reach without triggering algorithmic suppression?

You can refer to some documents about the most suitable time to post, good luck!

I’ve noticed posting a few times a week hits the sweet spot, enough to stay visible, but not so much that your reach drops.

Honestly, I’ve tested a bunch of posting schedules, and the main thing I’ve learned is — consistency beats volume every time.

From my own tests (and a few others I talked to), posting around 3–4 times a week on the feed and doing Reels almost daily gives the best reach over time. Stories? I just try to post something every day or at least every other day — even small stuff keeps your account active in followers’ eyes.

If you post too often, like several feed posts a day, your engagement per post starts to tank. But if you disappear for a week, your reach usually drops too. It’s all about keeping a rhythm that tells the algorithm, “this account is alive.”

So yeah — steady, real content > spammy frequency. That balance seems to be the sweet spot right now.

Posting once a day or every other day hits the sweet spot. Too much looks spammy, too little loses momentum.

Consistency is more important than just volume. Figure out a schedule you can stick to with valuable posts. Every platform and audience is different, so test what works best for your content and observe how people react. Quality over quantity usually wins.

Test
Start posting once a day
If you feel the need to post more frequently than that, try two posts per day for some days and see the results
If the results are still consistent and your reach is not affected, keep going and gradually (slowly) increase the frequency
Once you reach a point that you see your numbers being affected, reduce the frequency

I’ve seen solid results by posting 3 4 times a week but focusing heavily on timing and post type carousels and reels tend to get better reach than regular photos.

For most platforms, 1–2 quality posts per day maximizes reach without risking algorithmic suppression. Focus on consistency and engagement rather than sheer volume.

engagement matters more than frequency engage actively with your audience alongside posting to maximize reach.

1–2 high-quality posts per day usually hit the sweet spot. Consistency matters more than volume too many posts can reduce reach and engagement.

once or twice a day is more than enough.

im sticking to once a day cause i rather not spam my followers with reels after reels and just give out something thats useful and insightful

1–2 posts per day is usually safe, mix in stories and engagement, avoid spamming or repetitive content to keep reach stable.

For Reels, 2-3 times, and space out the posts so that each post as a minimum of 8 hours between. Some agencies have VA's do the posting, or use a post scheduler.

For most blogs, 1–3 high-quality posts per week is optimal for reach.

Consistency matters more than volume—publish on a fixed schedule and update older posts regularly to maintain visibility.

Being consistent matters more than posting in large volume. It’s better to choose a posting schedule you can maintain and focus on sharing useful or engaging content. Since every platform and audience behaves differently, testing and observing responses helps you find what works best. In most cases, quality performs better than quantity.

The algo asks, “Should I trust your next post?”
Answer with retention, not volume.
