Hi everyone,

I was using a virtual number for my WhatsApp Business account, but I forgot to pay for it two months ago. Now, support told me I can’t recover that number and I need to register a new one.
The issue is, I’m worried about switching to a new number. What if I don’t receive the OTP SMS? And most importantly, I don’t want to lose contact with my clients.
What’s the best way to make sure everything works smoothly when moving to a new number?

Any tips or experiences would be really appreciated!

You can change the number, but what you will need to do is that you will on read receipt for changing the number, so that it will inform your clients that you changed your number to a new one

For the OTP issue, make sure your new virtual number provider is known for reliable SMS delivery. Some are better than others for this. It's always a bit of a gamble with virtual numbers, but choosing a well-regarded service can help.

It's already solved. I bought icloud storage to save the conversations and bough another virtual number.
