I’ve been experimenting with AI content mixed with human editing. Some posts rank, others disappear. How’s everyone balancing AI vs manual writing now?

AI content can rank if you edit it well and add your own ideas. Use AI to create your first draft then add your own touch and make it unique.

I think it does, you can just edit the AI written content and add your own ideas

The best approach is to use AI for rough drafts or ideas and then polish everything manually to make it sound more natural and engaging.

AI-driven content is no longer gaining traction on Google. Human-touch, valuable content always yields better results.

AI articles still rank when they’re edited well and give readers real, useful information.

The main thing is to use AI to make your work easier and save your time.

A lot of creators are using AI to draft faster but heavily editing for quality, originality, and SEO basically AI for speed, human touch for results.

Yes! AI articles can rank if they're polished and genuinely useful. Google cares more about quality and relevance than whether it's AI or human. The best results come when you use AI for drafts and add human editing to make it natural and trustworthy.

Use it as a base, rewrite parts in your own words, and add real examples or insights. That mix usually performs best. Just don’t publish it raw, it can still rank fine

They rank short-term for sure, the trick is updating them regularly so Google doesn’t think they’re abandoned.

Yes they do rank but it's better if you spin using your own style.

Finding the right blend is tricky maybe leveraging AI for research and ideas, then refining with a personal voice, is the way to stay competitive.

I'd say there isn't a single news or commentary article out there today that doesn't use AI somehow. Yeah AI content ranks, just gotta do it right.

If you have a website with years of authority and ranking high, you could probably even publish 100% AI generated articles without being punished at first
But if you are asking this question, this is probably not your case, it's not recommended to do that on newly created websites or websites without authority

How your AI generation pipeline looks like? Which LLM/model do u use? Do you use any AI detector

Same here, some stick, some vanish. What’s working for me now: let AI handle briefs/outlines and a rough draft, then I rewrite the intro/H2s, add real examples and cite sources.
