Solution Needed!? BM Whatsapp Number Cloaking

Hey everyone


I have a verified Meta Business Manager with my real company information and WhatsApp Business set up via WATI. All incoming leads currently go to our main company number.

I want to add an additional WhatsApp number to WATI for running ads with cloaking.

My question:

If I add the new number under the same Business Manager Whatsapp which is linked to WATI, and that new number or its associated ad/account gets blocked by Meta or reported, will my main company number or the Business Manager also be affected?


How to do it smart so i can still be still on the safe site with my original number and on the other number will be for cloaking. ? (Please remember it has to be togheter with WATI because its easy for me to manage bigger leads inflow)


I know its a complicated one but maybe somebody has some expierience in this field

Don’t use cloaking it’s risky. If the risky number is under the same Business Manager trouble can spread to your main account. Safer use a separate Business Manager / separate WATI workspace and ad account for that number keep your verified BM clean and check with Meta support first.

I need to do cloaking because HR Services are always high risk in Meta. If i will make new BM to separated it can i use same company details for vertification ( 2 BM with same company details for vertification)? Or maybe somebody has a solution how to get the leads for this kind of services ?

You can use the same company details for verification across multiple Business Managers, no problem. But yeah, keeping them separate is definitely the safer route. For HR services, it’s a tricky spot, but maybe look into alternative lead gen methods that don’t rely so heavily on Meta ads or use organic funnels to reduce the risk.

Best way is to keep the cloaked number in a separate Business Manager. If it’s under the same one, there’s always a risk your main number can get affected too.
