Anyone else received copyright threat emails from Higbee?

yeah I agree with you If the Image its from Pixabay or Canva Free they cant by law demand anything thanks for the tip!. Do you analize spam headers looking for suspicous domains or spoofed senders?

Has anyone received copyright threat emails from Higbee?
About two years ago I got a similar email from another company (can’t remember the name), I didn’t reply, and they never contacted me again.
Now Higbee is sending the same kind of threatening messages.
The image in question is one I remember downloading from Pixabay or Canva Free — I never use copyrighted images, only free ones.
I’m planning not to reply, just like last time, but I’d like to know if anyone else has experienced something similar.
Yess, Higbee often sends mass copyright demand emails, mostly to pressure for settlements. If you only use free images from sources like Pixabay or Canva, and removed any disputed content, ignoring them usually works. Legal action is rare unless they escalate. If worried, consult a copyright lawyer. Always double-check image licenses to avoid issues.

Yeah, Higbee is known for sending aggressive copyright threat emails, often trying to scare people into paying. If you used free images from Pixabay or Canva Free, you’re usually safe just make sure you followed their license terms. Ignoring or not replying is often fine, but keep all proof of your licenses just in case. If it escalates, consider consulting a copyright lawyer. Lots of people report similar scams and nothing usually comes of it if you’re legit.

They might be using scare tactics to pressure you. And yes, many people use fake email addresses or misleading subject lines to appear official and grab your attention immediately. Always double-check the sender and don't respond without verifying.

This is a common tactic used by companies like Higbee to persuade people to pay. You'll likely be using Canva. It's very useful, and I recommend it...

Exactly! They rush you with that fake urgency and authority, hoping you'll act without thinking. Always pause and double-check before responding to anything like that!!!
