Has anyone had success with building links using statistics content?

I see about 90% of my competitors who have high domain rating using this technique. Their average domain rating is 50+, 65+ etc. while mine is just only measly 17 DR. It will be hard for me to compete so I have made a lot of research and statistics is their link building strategy.

So I have just started this, researched and done some statistics posts (about 5 articles in total). So far I got link from DR 65+, and DR 17.

It seems to be slow though. I was expecting like 3-5 links per month. Does this usually take time? (Asking those who use this).

I do something similar, I make articles with trends, statistics, juicy numbers and graphs but haven't gotten links from DR 65 yet. I do get a lot of mentions though which I then reach out to convert to a link. I suppose it also depends on the niche?

Can you share your outreach email?

No outreach. I only create the statistics content and have it rank then journalist and bloggers can cite and link to it

Ah cool. Can you share your content page with me by DM?

Statistics link building is effective, but links grow slowly since they rely on natural referencing and outreach.

Just got a link from a DR 57 site for one of my stats pages!

Statistics and demographic content attracts inbound linking.
Do you share pdf or images and what types of links do you get? is it anchor text or image links?
