I need help defining my proxy strategy for a TikTok farm, specifically around cost-effectiveness and usage rules.

1. Mobile Proxy vs. Residential Proxy: Is the significant price difference worth it? Does Mobile Proxy provide a clearly superior TikTok Trust Score compared to a good Residential Proxy?

2. Mobile Proxy Usage: If I buy one Mobile Proxy, can I use it across multiple devices/accounts (by rotating the IP), or must I dedicate one Mobile Proxy per device?

3. Recommendations: Who are your go-to, reliable Mobile and Residential Proxy providers for TikTok farming?

Any clarity on the 1:1 vs. 1:many usage rule for Mobile Proxies would be greatly appreciated!

Imho, good mobile proxies are superior to Residential proxies.
2. Yes you can, but shouldn't use two or more devices at the same time because they will have the sae ip at that instantin time.
3. You have to experiment.

Fir number 1, the reason the there is that price difference is because with a 4G proxy, you can rotate it and receive and new IP. Typically, people running scrapers use it to separate each account. In that case, if you plan on running many accounts, that a 4G proxy is something you should look into to keep the accounts safe.

Yeah, mobile proxies definitely give you a trust boost on TikTok. They rotate the same way a real phone would when switching towers, so the traffic looks way more organic. Best practice is to keep them close to 1:1 with your main/high-value accounts and use cheaper resi for the bulk stuff.

Mobile proxies give better TikTok trust but cost much more than residential ones. If budget allows, use mobile proxies for each account/device (1:1) to avoid bans. Using one proxy for multiple accounts (1:many) is riskier. For providers, try Decodo for mobile proxies and UnoProxy or Oxylabs for residential. Start 1:1, then scale carefully with monitoring.

Mobile proxies generally give higher trust scores on TikTok since they mimic real carrier traffic, but the cost only makes sense if you’re managing quality accounts, not mass farming. One mobile proxy per 3–5 accounts is usually the safe zone — 1:1 if you’re scaling serious assets. For providers, stick with reputable names like Proxy-Cheap, AirProxy, or Soax — they’re stable and support IP rotation well.

Mobile proxies usually perform better for TikTok since they rotate IPs naturally, giving accounts higher trust over time.

Residential proxies are cheaper, more flexible, but may need frequent rotation to stay safe on TikTok.

If budget allows, prioritize mobile proxies for critical operations to ensure higher success rates. For less critical tasks, residential proxies can be a cost-effective alternative.

1. Mobile Proxies will almost certainly have a more superior "trust score". Depends on your use case and how you plan to use the proxies, but paying per gb for residential proxies is likely not a good choice due to high bandwidth usage from videos.

2. You probably should only have 1-2 devices per mobile proxy. more than that and it's likely Tiktok flags your accounts but it depends on your use case

3. BHW has a whole section for proxy providers - just see the "proxies for sale" part of the forum on the left side of the forum

what about devices? which works better to make bulk accounts ,these anti detect browsers like hidemyacc, gologin or use app cloner ?

Mobile or high-quality rotating Residential proxies are best. Datacenter proxies are almost always detected within days.

if your proxy is clean and not used for spam before, i think mobi or resi proxies work the same. i run tiktok accounts on hidemyacc using resi proxy. since my accounts are for interaction (commenting), i use rotating resi proxies. they rotate per request. each time I open a profile, the proxy switches to a new ip. rotation stays in one country.

I’ve been running TikTok setups for a while, testing both mobile and residential proxies in different scales, and here’s what actually matters:

  1. For small to mid-size farms, a good residential proxy performs almost the same as mobile in terms of trust and account lifespan. Mobile proxies shine mostly when you’re scaling big and need IPs that look 100% organic to TikTok’s device graph.
  2. About 1:1 vs 1:many, don’t rely solely on IP rotation. TikTok fingerprints everything: device ID, user agent, timezone, even motion patterns. It’s safer to keep one proxy per device/account combo for the main profiles, then experiment with rotation only on test batches.
  3. When choosing providers, prioritize IP cleanliness and connection stability. A lot of “mobile” proxies on the market are actually residential pools with ASN masking. Consistency and uptime matter more than the label.

Lately I’ve been using Proxytee for geo-testing and account warmups, and the results have been solid , low bans, decent speeds, and transparent rotation.

If this kept your accounts alive one more day, drop a like or buy me a coffee (aka check out Proxytee)

Mobile proxies are cleaner, but they’re not magic anymore.
Safer rule is 1 mobile proxy → 1 device. Sharing it across many devices increases risk.

I actually stopped using proxies completely.
Now I post through TKK.ONE (official API), so I don’t need mobile/residential proxies at all and my accounts index normally.

From where do you find out that tiktok fingerprints even the motion patterns? Is there a tiktok code leak

Mobile proxies for sure boost trust on TikTok. They rotate like a real device switching towers, so your traffic looks legit. Just keep them 1:1 for your main accounts and use resi proxies for the mass stuff.

We have had customers that have success using aged accounts then managing them with Static ISP proxies

1.Mobile proxies have a higher baseline trust on tiktok because they come from real carrier ASN and tolerate reuse better. But the price gap is often not justified. You’re running risky automation or high-value accounts. Clean residential proxy with stable GEO/ASN is usually enough for most farms and more cost-effective. Also use antidetect. The safest approach is using a mobile antidetect combined with good proxies. But full fake emulation should be avoided. Mobile antidetects that use realistic hardware signals perform much better. Solutions like GeeLark, which rely on real hardware rather than fully virtual fingerprints, are a good example. In this setup, Wi-Fi plus proxy is totally fine and reliable.

2.With mobile proxies, the safest rule is 1 proxy=1 device/profile at a time. You can rotate IPs and reuse it across accounts, but not concurrently and not aggressively. Otherwise you lose the main benefit of mobile traffic patterns. Residential proxies are much more flexible for 1:many usage if sessions are isolated properly.
