Hello,

I would be interested to hear your opinion on appearing in AI responses. As I understand it, if I want to appear in AI responses for specific queries, such as "best sports equipment stores," I just need to have proper SEO and rank for the desired keyword. Is there anything else I can do, or any secret tricks?

What are your practices and tips, guys? ;)

I feel AI picks sites that give simple, clear answers, so making content easy to read can help more than just keywords.

Publish High Quality content on High Authority Websites like Yahoo, Business Insider and so on..

That works.

Appearing in AI responses takes a bit more. Here’s what works:

- High-quality, comprehensive content that fully answers user questions.
- Topical authority: publish multiple in-depth articles in your niche.
- Brand mentions: even unlinked mentions help AI recognize your site as authoritative.
- Structured content: headings, lists, and clear formatting make it easier for AI to extract information.
- Regular updates: keep content current and accurate.

In short, focus on quality, relevance, and authority, not just ranking for the keyword.

AI-generated content can definitely help with SEO if it’s used carefully. The key is making sure the output is fact-checked, original, and actually useful for readers. Google’s updates in 2024–2025 don’t penalize AI content directly, but they do target low-quality or mass-produced pages. In my experience, mixing AI assistance with human editing and adding personal insights works best for long-term rankings.

After that, you need to build a presence in forums like Reddit or Quora.

Also, AI considers too many authoritative sources before citing your site, So you will need them too.
