Dang, this was just sad. First, most of the comments I saw were coded incorrectly and it seems like the commenters' did not even bother to check what they posted. Then, there is the fact that there are hundreds and hundreds of spam comments which would take away any linkback power. However, these actually have no power at all! Simply checking the page source rather than relying on your browser plugin to highlight a no follow link would have shown you that only the first 10 comments get indexed. Here, most of you thought you were getting 4 easy pr 7 links when all you had to do was read down the thread a little to see you were wasting your time. So sad.
At least it looks like after Micallef's last post things have started to settle down. Everyone who posted "thanks for share" or "great post" looks like an imbecile unfortunately.
