If a site has no traffic, the link is just a number.

– >Real users = real signals
– >Links get crawled faster
– >Higher chance of referral benefits

Traffic is proof of life.

Traffic matters more than just metrics because a link on a site with real visitors brings actual user activity, gets noticed by search engines faster, and can even send you referral leads. A link on a site with no traffic is basically useless, no matter what its metrics say.

Unless Metrics will give only authority to the site to be fit for google and there is no use for the site's owner who are looking for leads. But Traffic will gives you more benefits and make the product or service which you are need to promote.

What about PBN? Many such sites have no traffic, but links from the main page give a normal boost.

In fact, I had a website a few years ago, zero SEO, just traffic from social media ads, it was ranking in page 1 and 2 without effort

Totally agree — I’ve seen high-metric sites with zero traffic do nothing for rankings. But even low-DR sites with real traffic bring in results. Traffic definitely adds real value beyond just numbers.

Exactly! Traffic-driven links provide genuine engagement and stronger SEO signals. Real visitors boost crawl rates, authority, and conversions — far more valuable than metrics-only links with zero real user interaction.

agreed. in one igaming affiliate team we built, DR80 dead sites did nothing. 3 low-DR guest posts with real users sent referrals, got crawled fast, and moved keywords in 4-6 weeks. PBN can help, but traffic proves a site is alive

Exactly. A link from a site with genuine traffic carries editorial weight and user intent, which Google's algorithms interpret as a stronger endorsement. It signals real-world relevance beyond just a static backlink, influencing both crawl priority and ranking potential.

Yes, a site with traffic is valuable. A niche relevant site is extraordinary. A site with authority is great. If you get a link from a site that ticks all boxes, then it'll definitely boost your rankings. We can't just say that one kind of link is better than the others as it entirely depends upon the authority, niche, traffic, etc. of the money site. It's better to have a combination of links instead of trusting one kind of links.

Exactly! Traffic is the heartbeat of any site. Without real users metrics don't matter it's the engagement and signals from actual visitors that truly drive growth.

I focus on sites with active visitors rather than just high domain scores.
