If email, of course that I want to buy a quality one... once I figure out what "quality" means in this regard :)

Also, I do intend to get a US edu email, and these are almost always "quality" emails (well, quality as deemed by my newbie brain)

that's another research I need to do (which are the most prestigious education institutions in the US... although, I don't think I will be able to find edu emails of these institutions, and definitely not for just $10. But I gotta research this...)

I used offers from GitHub Student Pack when I was in college a couple of years ago. Now, Google is also offering 2TB storage with Gemini Pro for one year.
 
Adobe do a bundle with photoshop, lightroom etc for half price for the first year with a student email. I think it's about 20USD a month.

never liked / used Adobe products, so I'm not affected by their this. But thanks for the tip, maybe someone who does use Adobe will find it valuable :)

Mostly .edu emails are sold because they unlock student discounts on different software, tools, and services (like hosting, Adobe, Spotify, Amazon, etc.). Some platforms also give free trials or extra perks if you register with a .edu email. Outside of that, they don’t hold much direct SEO value it’s mainly for the benefits attached to the “student” status.

I don't know about the sheerid verification. It wasn't there when they launched that offer.
 
Emails with .edu domains are usually given to college or university students and staff. They give access to discounts, free services, and learning materials that are only for students. For example, you can get discounts on software, subscriptions, or special offers. That’s why some people want these emails to use the perks. But for regular email or chatting, they aren’t that special.
