Newbie Question: Why Did My Site’s Visibility Drop So Much?

I’m a complete newbie here and I really hope to get some advice from the experienced members.

My site is: vividcozytile.com
It’s a niche e-commerce store focused on building materials (tiles, flooring, etc.).
Lately, I’ve noticed a serious drop in exposure and traffic. What confuses me is:

• I haven’t used any black hat SEO or risky techniques.
• The site is relatively new and I’ve tried to stick to “clean” methods (basic on-page SEO, content, product listings, etc.).
• The biggest drop seems to be in organic visibility.

So my questions are:

1. Is it normal that non-local / international e-commerce stores see weaker performance compared to local ones?
2. Could there be other reasons for this decline (algorithm updates, competition, site speed, backlinks, etc.)?
3. What are the first things you’d recommend a beginner check when traffic suddenly goes down?

I’d really appreciate any constructive suggestions. I’m still learning and trying to figure out the right direction, so all insights are welcome.

Did you recently change your site (theme, structure, URLs)? Check Google Search Console for manual penalties, indexing errors, or crawling issues. Also audit your content + backlinks losing good links or having outdated/low-quality content can kill visible rankings fast.
