I saw this question a few times on Reddit, and I wanted to open it here for discussion.

People are doing that, let's be honest, YouTube Channels are being shut down daily.
What do you think is the cause?

If you have an enemy, how could you shut down his YouTube channel?

What the point? How have you got time to build brick walls to stop others, instead of chasing your own dreams and winning? You can only do one, lol

I don't believe in karma, but I believe in wasting time. Focus your energy in building something instead of trying to sabotage other people, you can even partner with them and help each other instead of treating other channels as competitors and ''enemies'', this is a business, not a war

Plot twist: if you actually manage to shut them down, they’ll just come back with two channels and twice the motivation. Haha!

From my experience, I can tell you, shutting down someone's channel is easy, but once they appeal, it will be a lot harder to take it down again.

Taking down a youtube channel is not easy because you need 3 strikes.

I will say that currently no one gave here a practical answer :)

It can be taken down in many ways. There are soft and hard suspensions.

I'd not suggest to do that. I don't think thats something you would be allowed to discuss here.

Most channel terminations occur due to policy violations or copyright infringement. Trying to target someone else's channel isn't worth it; focus on creating your own content safely.

Automate the process of reporting channels and see if you get any success. I think if you report 10000 channels, you'll get decent result.

It will vary from niche to niche.

Be honest, beat your competitor by making better videos and smarter promotion, not by trying to shut their channel down.

There are services that have staff connections to do that, I would buy that.
You would buy that?

That might be someone's only source of income.

Someone's hard work shouldn't be wiped off that easily. If there are people doing something like this, they better can get a life.

Yup, channels get nuked daily. Usually copyright strikes, TOS violations, or someone reporting you nonstop. As for enemies… best stick to playing smart, not dirty

You're right YouTube channels do get shut down regularly, and there’s definitely a lot of talk online about why it happens and how people try to weaponize the system. Let’s break this down honestly.
