Every guide says you must warm up accounts for days/weeks before posting links or scaling. But honestly, I’ve seen people skip the whole process and still grow fast without bans, while others waste weeks warming up and still get clipped.

So I’m wondering… is warm-up just an overhyped ritual, or is it actually essential in 2025?

Curious to hear real experiences, not just theory.

No its very important now a days don't rush anything they have very smart systems now (especially with ai)

Definitely important, in running ads - account gets banned very quick as soon as you try to add a credit card so warm up process definitely isn't just a overhyped ritual

it's dynamic. some accs require warmup while some will last without warmup

Most people who say warm-up is a waste are the ones crying about bans a week later.
Or those who say warm-up is important are sellers like you.

Why do people overcomplicate the most simple things? Just act like a human and you won't face an account ban. If every single one followed the same recipe, guess what, they'll detect is as well.

I don’t think warm-up is totally overrated—it still helps a lot when your account, site, domain, or business are new. But if you already have some ad history + a clean domain + verified biz info, you can cut it way shorter. I’ve seen people skip long warm-ups and do fine, but most who burn get caught when they ignore signals like low trust, lack of conversions, or policy strictness.

Warm-up still matters, but it doesn’t have to be the long ritual some people make it. New accounts, fresh domains, or running ads definitely need a softer start to build trust. But if the account already has history and clean data, you can shorten the process. Skipping it completely is where people usually get burned.

I guess people who insist on warm up routines are speaking from painful experience so you might want to forgive their POV. Whatever works for you, go with it. I have seen accounts work right of the bat, and I have seen accounts that wouldn't w

Depends on your setup, TikTok no, IG yes, you need to train it a bit to what’s your about at the beginning. Don’t overdo it try mimic human behavior. Posting links soon is also a potential problem. Anyway just start you will sense what’s right eventually.

I've seen some rise quick without a warm up and other ones may take weeks and still get suspended outcomes seem to depend more on chance and timing than on any fixed process

Seen some shoot up fast without any warm-up, while others drag for weeks and still get axed. Feels like it’s more RNG and timing than any real system behind it

Account warm-up is very essential. Mainly to let others know your niche and build trust. It's like the strong basement. Without that people couldn't see strong growth. Also you're letting the Algorithm understand you.

TikTok nah, IG works. Just warm it up slow, act human. Links too early = red flag

Good point, but do you think warm-up’s needed even if the account’s aged and clean? Or only for brand-new setups?

from what i have seen, accounts that warmed up before are less likely to encounter issues such as not spending or spending little, or being rejected, compared to other accs. But don't know if you guys feel the same as me, but I think it's quite necessary
