One of my private affiliate sites used to rely almost entirely on Google organic. Over the last couple of years, that traffic has mostly dried up due to all the updates.

The surprising part is that Bing is now sending a good amount of traffic to that same site, and it's converting well enough to keep the commissions steady.

It's a good reminder not to ignore the other search engines.

I wouldn’t say “money site” without Google is easy, but building an email list from social traffic makes you less dependent on search updates.

if that's true we're entering really dark times, every community-oriented site allows links at least in your profile, but if this becomes forbidden, dang! I think only kids and bored grandpas will keep spending time on Tumblr, and I'm not sure how monetizable these demographics are...

Google killed my site long ago. From over 2000 daily visitors 90% from Google to 100 visitors 10% from Google. For now I target other search h engines like Bing, Yahoo etc and am happy. Earnings tanked as well from $300 a month to $10-15 monthly. But still am able to get enough for hosting and domain renew. I can't say anything about Google but apply I know from inside.

yes you can't post any link even in profile you will get removed completely , quora now is very strict than any website in the world that just happened in this year , don't buy any course or method claim it will bring you traffic from quora , not now anymore . forget about traffic from quora or reddit those sites very strict quora is the stricter
