My reddit accounts keeps getting banned immediately I add a link to a post, I don't know what's wrong.
All kind of links, or specific ones (like a custom website or an affiliate one)? When you post a comment with such a link, it is well integrated into the thread's context, or it screams "SPAM"?Yes well wamed, I do comments, I hv no issue adding link to comment but when I try post I get banned immediately

Reddit bans fast because dropping a link looks like spam if the account has no history or karma. The system and mods see it as self-promotion without trust. To fix this, you need to warm up accounts first post genuine comments, upvote, and engage in niche subs for a while before sharing anything. When you finally add a link, wrap it in real context or value instead of making it the focus. On Reddit, reputation comes before promotion build that and your links start surviving. My reddit accounts keeps getting banned immediately I add a link to a post, I don't know what's wrong
Post in smaller subs first to build trust, big subs ban fast if you look like a marketer
what does "a while" mean in this context? A few hours, a few days, a few weeks?engage in niche subs for a while before sharing anything
smaller as in?Post in smaller subs first
If you're just starting out, I recommend using a single account - whether it's one you've created yourself or purchased.Sorry for these questions, guys, but I'm new to Reddit marketing, and I'm considering buying a Reddit account, and I obviously don't want to lose my money within the first few hours, so I need to know the exact specifics of your statements![]()
I do intend to get only 1 account, I just don't know how to keep it safe because the last 2 accounts that I tried a few years ago got banned within hours. So, in a sense, I am new to Reddit since I never got to use those accounts...If you're just starting out, I recommend using a single account - whether it's one you've created yourself or purchased.Reddit can be tricky to navigate. I create accounts manually, and in my experience, doing too much too soon (like commenting within the first hour) can lead to a shadowban, even if the comment is completely original. I am also new to Reddit.

Where you posting on other people subredditsI do intend to get only 1 account, I just don't know how to keep it safe because the last 2 accounts that I tried a few years ago got banned within hours. So, in a sense, I am new to Reddit since I never got to use those accounts...
Anyway, thanks for the tip! Hopefully I will remember it![]()
I think so, but I'm not sure...Where you posting on other people subreddits
You should keep out of political section of reddit. Its a good thing BHW don't allow politics over here.I don't love the tribalistic behavior it brings, life is too short.I think so, but I'm not sure...
All I remember is that one of the accounts got banned because I've left my own opinion on a thread about politics in which I blamed everyone for being blinded and brainwashed for believing what I believed to be wrong. So my account got terminated within minutes after my comment got downvoted into oblivion first
The other account I don't remember why it got banned...
the tribalistic behaviour is brought by politics indeed, but not from the direction that you think it comes from, but from the other direction...You should keep out of political section of reddit. Its a good thing BHW don't allow politics over here.I don't love the tribalistic behavior it brings, life is too short.
Look for other threads to put you below the radar of getting banned.
