Honestly, if i wanna talk to Chatgpt, then i talk to Chatgpt. I don't need a middle man in a marketing forum. But that's what i see every time i come here. I even see Jr.Vip users creating posts fully AI written, as if they're passing down some sort of ultra valuable information.

My opinion is that if we don't get our arms around this now, the forum will be a dumping ground for AI posts in a very near future. I don't think it should be acceptable to create posts pretending you're teaching anything at all when all you're doing is copy pasting from Chatgpt so you can get some visibility on your signature. If it was up to me, these people would be banned.

If not too long ago people were able to participate without AI, there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to do the same thing now. The worst part is that they don't even pretend they're not using AI. It's as low effort as it can be.

Many accounts have been banned here for posting AI, just report them when you see them and let MODs go to work.

I did. They said it added value. Fair enough. But that kind of defeats the purpose of a forum where the value is in personal experience. Chatgpt doesn't know what methods i use. Chatgpt isn't out there trying to get around the rules every single day. Chatgpt is aware of generic information. It's not aware of the real ninja stuff. The value of this forum has always been the sharing of personal knowledge. That's what made it different from the rest. If it's just generic stuff, it can be found everywhere.

When I report, mods take action
But I think the forum rules should be stricter, there are profiles that only post AI generated content or beg review copies and discount, usually scammers.

They should not receive a warning, they should be immediatelly banned, as all their profile is against BHW rules, not only 1 or 2 posts, the whole profile is against the rules with tens of spammy comments, they should be banned without warnings and kicked out before they upgrade their profiles and start running telegram crypto scams here

I agree. But i'm not even talking about those obvious spammers. I'm talking about users that appear to be legit but still use AI to post here. This forum was more active in the past when AI wasn't a thing. There's no reason why using AI should be allowed. You have a brain and two hands. You can write your posts.

But hey, i'm not an admin. It's just a suggestion based on the desire to maintain some level of quality around here.

What about AI created/written comments? I feel like a bunch of comments on threads are literally copy paste AI answers providing 0 insight or solutions lol

I think there's should be an upvote/downvote mechanism, similar to Reddit so we can downvote the bot comments. And if a comment get enough downvotes it would be automatically hidden.

We had something similar years ago and it was abused by the community as members who didn't like one another would use it, competitors of sellers used it... it was a mess and created more issues than it helped.

If my memory serves me, you had to be a Junior vip to see who gave you a negative rep. I know, I know, I can remember things almost 20 years ago, but I can't remember what I had for breakfast.

I would prefer to label AI comments, we report and those comments are labeled as AI generated comments
As a results they are reviewed, if mod approves and consideres it as an AI or spam comment, it will be hidden
If it possibly overloads our mods, maybe they should invite Executive VIP Members and this kind of reputable volunteers to help with this task

Never going to happen. It would be absolute chaos and would generate huge amounts of bad will.

Bro the whole internet will be AI soon..that's what they want..then ppl will believe what's false is and doubt what real is..welcome to NWW

I don't care about the obvious AI replies with neat lists and bold letters, those i instantly ignore.

The ones that start as if they are a expert in the field while the content of the reply is based on other posts from users that posted on the thread is what pisses me off. It's like they feed the whole thread to ChatGPT to form a reply and its just summarizes what other people said.

ah yes the rep system! those were good times!
you could rank anything with scrapebox + spam!

you are old, my dear friend

As it stands now, we are not going to delete AI content if it adds value unless it is just garbage.

It's a pain in some instances, I know, and most of you know as well,

If you see garbage AI, please help the community out and report it, and a staff member will review it, and if needed delete it and warn the member that posted it, but if your report is rejected, don't feel like your report was in vain.

There is human element in making that call and maybe we are wrong sometimes (actually, me as I'm the best at making mistakes, the others are tops) but we strive to do our best when it comes to moderatng the forum.

But, please do not stop reporting it, we all want this place to be clean.
