Is adding hashtags in facebook ad posts still effective? What do you think about facebook hashtags. Is it similar to instagram?

Noticed the same question, hashtags on Facebook ads don’t seem to perform like they do on Instagram. I’d be interested to know if anyone has tested their impact recently.

Hastags works perfectly on Instagram than Facebook.

Hashtags on FB don’t work like on IG, creative and targeting matter much more

They can still help with discoverability in some cases, but Facebook’s algorithm prioritizes content quality, engagement, and audience relevance much more.

I tried adding hashtags for a while and found that sometimes it helps to categorize, but the actual effectiveness is still far behind the quality of content and interaction. Can someone test it in depth and let me know more?

Hashtags on Facebook are no longer given as much priority in the content distribution algorithm as they are on Instagram or TikTok.

Hashtags on Facebook are less effective than on Instagram. Focus on quality content bro.

I believe that adding hashtags to Facebook ad posts still be effective to some extent because they make posts more discoverable, although they aren't as powerful as on Instagram

I’ve added hashtags to my ad, but my impressions are still low. Does anyone have tips to improve that?

From what I’ve seen, hashtags on Facebook don’t carry the same weight as they do on Instagram. They might give a small boost in reach or help organize content, but they’re not a big factor for ad performance. Most of the impact still comes from targeting and creative.

From what I’ve seen, hashtags on Facebook don’t have the same impact as they do on Instagram. They can still help with reach and categorizing content, but I wouldn’t rely on them as a main driver for performance. They work better when used sparingly and kept relevant to the ad content.

Hashtags on Facebook are still usable, but not very effective, especially for advertising posts. If you use them, choose relevant, short hashtags, and don't overuse them.

Hashtags on Facebook only emphasize topics, which do little to increase reach; on Instagram they're important for discovery.

They can still contribute to discoverability in certain situations, but Facebook’s algorithm places much greater emphasis on content quality, engagement, and audience relevance.

Hashtags on Facebook still work, but they’re not as powerful as on Instagram. Use 2–5 relevant hashtags and avoid overusing them so your content stays natural and effective.

You can use hashtags on Facebook, but they are not as effective as on Instagram. On IG, hashtags help expand reach significantly, while Facebook's algorithm prioritizes content over hashtags. Hashtags on Facebook are only useful when used with a few related keywords, making them easier to find and more professional, but they are not a determining factor in reach.

Hashtags on Facebook are not as powerful as Instagram; they only aid in search and professionalism, but do not significantly increase reach like on IG.
