So I'm a little wet behind the ears on the whole twitter thing. Would you mind accelerating my learning curve slightly?

- YOUR tweets with/without links ratio is too high!
What's a good ratio? 1 link for every 10 posts? 25? 50?
- YOU sent out too many tweets per account/day!
What's "Too many?" 10? 100?
- YOU have no profile info/pic in your account!
Got it, thank you.
- YOU'RE sending out tweets too fast!
Where's a good line on that? 2 an hour? 1 every 6 hours?
- YOU'RE using multiple accounts the same time with the same IP!
Once again, what's a good line there... 2 or 3?

I'm sorry to ask, but there's no "Best Practices" on the topic that I could find.

If I'm just asking too much of you, please don't flame. I'm on the board to share information and hope that you will kindly share some with me.

Thank you. :)

These questions have already been answered in this thread and I remember I saw another thread where someone shared his best practices.
If you can't find them just let me know and I will do it for you :)

Cheers.

I've used this software for some time now and I'd like to say this:

1. It is a great tool
2. Remember that twitter users are not usually targeted buyers. Its just people hanging out.
3. As I've requested by email with no response, I'd appreciate (Im sure other older users would too) to be able to download an updated version of the manual, that cover the new additions.
4. If you have a small computer (netbook, like my case), some parts of the tool bars wont be visible because of resolution matters. I suggest that would be a good future update for this product. Some sort of screen auto-fit interface.
5. I would also suggest, in the "Wait and reply" module, to add a menu for different languages, for people that tweet in more than one language. Also a "None of these words" field to exclude some tweets we dont want.

Anyway thats my point of view.

Thanks! :drinking8

I'll add it to my list of threads to read at a later date than, so long as I know it's in here. Much appreciated. :)

YOUR tweets with/without links ratio is too high!

I run half links half no link replies (I wait few days after I created the account to start the replies, follow people in those days you're waiting)

YOU sent out too many tweets per account/day!

From my experience I just set a longer wait time on the accounts to prevent a ban, experiment is best.

YOU'RE sending out tweets too fast!

Experiment start at 30 second wait.

YOU'RE using multiple accounts the same time with the same IP!

I really don't care about building tons of followers so in my cause I still only use 1 IP (free proxies because I don't care about being banned)

Ransom,

If that was directed towards me (just guessing?) I'm not tweeting as of yet. I was asking before I got started tweeting :)

You know, that whole concept of look before you leap.... :D

After I create the initial accounts, remove the failed ones and export all the new successful accounts created to a file. When I verify the emails let's say 35 out of 40 were successfully confirmed, I'll just delete those successful one's from the list and either retry or resend confirmation emails until I cleanup those last 5 or less remaining. Then delete everything from the list of accounts shown, import your newly created accounts from the recent export file and then you can check account status if you want or export to tweetattack format.

I always create files for a batch of accounts, one for AC the other for TA, eg. "7-27 #1 ac.txt" and "7-27 #1 ta.txt". I'll increment the # if I decide to create more than a batch of accounts in the same day. Alot of individual files after but I can always manage/merge these into a single master account(s) and then let the tweetattack "account statistics" module manage the accounts after that if any of them get suspended.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the tips. But I do clean my successful ones, delete the email confirmations in my mail box, have it resend to the ones that didnt confirm correctly the last time, and it still gives me errors.

I would like jay to answer why, I have attached a screen shot of where it always seems to give me the error.

I use your software Tweetattacks and I have to say that is a real great product!
But there are some problems with the "following command limit".
By default tweetattacks sets a limit between 50 and 150 people to follow.
Well I select this limit, but the software goes on and on following hundrends people over the 150 limit.

How to resolve this error?

Waiting for your useful response.

Best regards

P.S. Is there a software similar to Tweetattacks for facebook? In particular for the reply marketing function in Facebook?

EDIT: Scratch what I put here previously, I have requested a refund via [email protected]. I have a friend who is working on their own twitter account solution, and I am going to give him some $$ to use that. I still love TweetAttacks and use it daily, but the account creator is not what I need at this point in time.

Sorry for the inconvenience, please disregard my last 2 posts regarding the issues I was having.

Thank you!

No problem mate, I agree that TA AC have lot more to improve and we are working on that now.

Thanks

You're a stand up guy! Thanks, I just requested the refund for AC and already have received it, less than 15 minutes later. Thanks so much! And if anyone is on the fence about TweetAttacks, GET IT! It's brilliant! And with a few bug fixes, the Account Creator will be too.

Thanks again =)

I purchased TweetAttacks.

I can't use the software because it does not recognize
machine ID and can't validate license.

I sent in an email to support, still no reply.

I need the license validated.

Yeah you should try, and also try the new option in multi user poster called login only x account at a time. It will not login all accounts at a time and wait for other accounts before logging in other accounts. We designed that to reduce the workload on your computer when initializing multi user poster module.

thanks

Hey,

I am just wondering about the feature, only login to X accounts at the same time.

I have tested this, and it looks like to me that it still trys to login to all accounts in the list, even if I have chosen 5 accounts only, as I did in this test.

Any ideas why it is doing that?

It will still login all accounts but only 5 at a time.

Initially it will login accounts
1,2,3,4,5

if account 1 already logged in, it will continue to account 6, and so on.

ok so if I have 200 accounts.. and I say only login to 50 accounts at the same time...

What happens with the multiposter? Will only 50 tweets be done at the same time over those 50 accounts? or will tweets be placed over all 200 ?

Sorry for the dumb question.. just trying trying to figure out the best way to manage lots of accounts :)

Also.. when is the multi threaded option going to be ready for following / un following as well?
