My experience about selling sneakers replica

Was this selling to customers who knew they were replicas or did they buy them thinking they were real?

I too was involved in the sneaker industry for a long time, but I was purchasing direct from the stores, I have some friends that to this day still buy replicas on purpose because they don't care to have the real ones for the money.
Customer always knew it was replica without any doubt, we just made tons using some influencers and it just grew up

Most of my clients are in replica, They invest with ads agency to run their campaigns on stealth. Everything should be on stealth so you don’t get caught! paypal / stripe on stealth

Actually cloaking stripe is one of the best choices, but sometimes it also get caught, but yes, it’s best one rn

The loneliness part you mentioned really hits, business online can feel like that a lot.

Well, I really never know where to start when talking about this experience. First of all, because I’ve always felt like it was something illegal, and that alone was enough for me—but holy, I made pretty good money with it.
When I started—or better said, when we started (because it was always done from scratch with one of my best friends)—we had no idea what we were doing. We just tried to get the best quality from AliExpress or DHGate and resell it to our friends. That was back in 2016, and we were also under 18, so it was even more difficult. But by the time we turned 18, we had made more than 10K, and that was pretty crazy for us.

Once we were over 18, we didn’t know what to do with our little empire. We were selling to friends and also friends of friends, but we didn’t know how to grow. That’s when we discovered Instagram and its replica stores. We started a small account where we reached 35K followers just by reuploading sneaker-related content, posting stories of our sneakers, and providing good customer service. I’m not really going to go into details because maybe someday I can help others with my knowledge about this world. But what I really want to focus on is the absolute loneliness and the need to stop trusting people blindly. Everyone moves solely out of self-interest, and that’s the biggest point of this post.
Getting back to replicas. I started again, designing for people I met in the process—other replica shop owners. One of them became more like a friend, and we started working together. Yes, I was completely stupid. These guys just set up their own shops, never did anything besides talking to influencers, paid them good money for ads, and got sales. But it was all pure shit. I introduced him to Facebook Ads, created some pretty good ads in Spain that generated an amazing amount of money… but then taxes appeared, and in Spain, they are a very serious thing.
We started a custom sneaker project, which I managed and developed completely on my own—from logistics to the technical part of design and bringing it to reality. Meanwhile, if anything went wrong with replica hostings or payment gateways, I was the idiot who fixed everything. A few months later, he cut all communication and left me without a single penny from those shops.
Again, things went wrong, and obviously, that’s on me. I really don’t even know why I’m sharing all this, but my own story always makes me sick. I’m just trying to make some bucks to help my family and live a relaxed life. People always want more than they have, and that’s pure shit.
I hope none of you have to go through this because sometimes, it makes you stop believing in yourself. Best of luck to all of you! And I’m always here if you need any kind of help or services related to replicas, design, or social media! Have a good night!
what's impressive is despite the betrayal you with little to no help did fantastic. On top of that, the fact you are still going now is truly inspiring as well.

That’s the only thing I can do, keep trying. Thank you for your words

Really appreciate you taking the time to post this.
ALso i've started to sell reps in the UK as well. I'm banned off ebay though almost immediately lol.
Would you recommend selling electronics or clothing??
And what platform should I use to grow sales fast? im kinda stuck tbh.

U can try with tiktok ads. They gave me crazy high roi than meta.
How do u advertise reps on tiktok ads? won't they just ban you?

why don't you create a website and sell reps on that? Huge market is there. Secondly for ads fb and insta are still the best, and there are plenty of good cloakers on this forum to mask the replica ad on these platforms.

Thank you for sharing such a raw and honest story with the community. It takes a lot of courage to be that open about both the successes and the failures.

The biggest takeaway for me isn't about the product itself, but about the business partnerships. The lesson about trust is something that every single entrepreneur here, no matter their niche, needs to hear. It’s a tough reminder that without clear agreements and truly vetted partners, even a profitable business can fall apart from the inside. Your experience is a valuable case study in the importance of protecting yourself, especially when working with friends.

It's also clear you have some serious skills in growing social media accounts and running ads to get the kind of results you did.

Respect for sharing your journey and the hard-earned wisdom. Wishing you all the best in your next project.
