Makes sense. The forum is THE mode of communication. Creating subcommunities on various mobile applications and websites would just overcomplicate and potentially splinter the community (arguably unnecessarily).

Have the admins ever thought about, let's say, creating a Discord server, even if it would be a paid one? It could be a really good way to connect and network with people.

That will cannibalize this website. Why would BHW divert traffic to a third party app that you have no control over?
For a forum it's always the best to keep members grouped together instead of scattering them across different groups and forums.
