“Do You Think Crypto Will Ever Truly Replace Banks?”

Hi Mate, Thanks for being part of my discussion.

Quick Question : Do you think fintechs like Revolut, Wise, and N26 will eventually replace traditional banks for global users, or will they just stay as an add-on service while the old banks keep their dominance?
They will replace them because most traditional banks don't want us anyway. So probably these will take over before crypto.

I believe crypto will die after 2029-2030 because crypto is made BY USA as a financial assest. Once they assest cross approx they have loan I mean around 32+ trillion.. Crytpo will fall drastically

That's an interesting findings.

We can not predict a coin let alone crypto

Crypto wasn’t made by the US, it started as a decentralized project.

Crypto promised freedom from banks, but adoption still feels halfway there.

Do you see it ever fully replacing traditional banking, or will both always coexist?
Crypto is like a new technology, it's still brand new, bank are hundred years ahead, but crypto is a high-potential business for sure.

We sold our principles for preferences. Now the price is what matters the most. A shiny dildo-NFT-gift is what gets attention, not the borderless, censorship-resistant 24/7 payments.
Crypto became another cancer tumor on the brain matter of humanity.

Do you think crypto lost its original purpose of financial freedom, and is now just another speculative asset class or can it still reclaim its core vision?

NEVER.

Crypto will never replace banks because governments will never allow it to happen. Banks are the backbone of the financial system, used to control taxes, regulate economies, and enforce laws. No government would ever give up that power to a system it can't fully control.

Also, banks provide stability, insured deposits, and regulated trust, while crypto is volatile and risky. At best, crypto will remain a side option or investment, but it will never replace banks.

Crypto won’t fully replace banks anytime soon, but it’s already changing how people move money and store value. I think both will stick around, crypto for freedom and speed, banks for trust and services.

crypto offers freedom and borderless transactions, but full replacement of banks seems unlikely soon. most people and businesses still rely on banks for stability, loans, and regulation. likely, they’ll coexist, with crypto carving out niches for payments, remittances, and digital assets.

Yes, this is my opinion. I've lost faith in humanity and all that's left is to enjoy the decline.
A vast majority of people don't know what to do with the freedom and don't deserve it, honestly. For too many years, we played on easy mode and let too many stupid genes survive.

Quick Question - If governments will never allow crypto to replace banks, do you think its future lies more in becoming a digital asset class (like gold) rather than a true currency?

Well said mate.

A Quick question - If crypto and banks do end up coexisting, which side do you think will adapt faster banks integrating blockchain, or crypto evolving to meet regulatory standards?

Pretty much. People will keep using it as an asset to hold, trade, or hedge against inflation, not for everyday stuff like groceries or rent. Over time it'll sit alongside things like stocks or gold, while governments push their own digital currencies for real world payments.

I don’t think crypto will fully replace banks — at least not anytime soon.
Governments will always push for regulation, and most people still trust banks for safety.
But crypto definitely has its place for borderless payments & financial freedom.
Most likely, both will coexist — banks adapting blockchain while crypto keeps growing.

Quick question to make this discussion more interesting - If both end up coexisting, do you think we will see banks launching their own hybrid crypto services (like wallets & lending) or will they try to compete directly against decentralized platforms?

I think crypto has the ability to. The process is much smoother having a universal currency. Exchanging different currencies can be a pain and crypto is a remedy for that

I agree And i would like to ask you a quick question.

Do you think mainstream adoption of crypto for everyday payments will depend more on tech improvements (like faster, cheaper transactions) or on governments easing regulations?
