Cheap custom wordpress site, it's all about how cheap you can get, given that the core wordpess is free. That expectation of cheap work will never go away.

Depends on what market and countries you targeting, but maintenance and speed optimizations is a sure bet mostly, and is very cheap to start with as a provider and can generate a really good income. Custom WordPress is paying very good, but has a higher threshold to get in to.

In my personal experience .
Website & Design Cloning / Duplication / Migration to Wordpress is the most demanded niche .

Because i can say that there are many platforms which are easier than wordpress but they have monthly subscriptions
so people who prefer to stay away from the monthly subscriptions always prefer wordpress .
