Hello guys im just wondering how long should i warm up a new reddit acc to do ofm on it whitout getting banned or shadowbanned ?

Try to consider what a normal user would look like and emulate it. Mobile or residential proxy. Not too much over activity other than browsing in the start. Perhaps look up a subreddit on Google search and get the cookie from there before signing up etc.

How are you warming your account? There are some people here who just keep scrolling down for days, which is not a proper way to warm it up
What is the proper, most optimal way to warmup and which subs do you use?

Try to browse and upvote/downvote for 3 days. Then start making non promotional comments for a few days. You should be good to go after that.
What does it mean when Reddit hides my comments and I have to click + to see it? I like getting controversial but I get banned very soon.

It means your account CQS score is low. You can check it it at r/WhatIsMyCQS

Try to act like a real person. But if you are going to use the account to promote, accept the risks, you will sooner or later run into some issues. Use more accounts.

3 days minimum, but make sure to build karma with comments first.

Do your own experiments.
1st acc warm for 1 day and try to use it
2nd acc warm up for 2 day
3rd acc warm up for 4 day
4th acc warm up for 8 day

And you will find the period of warming up for YOUR accounts

I suggest reaching at least high cqs before you start going crazy with the account

Agree with what everyone else is saying: try to think about how a normal user would be behaving. Build initial karma with comments first, then posts later. I usually let the account age for at least a week before any type of promotional posts. Then go slow for the rest of the first month (maybe just one or two posts daily, can increase volume as the account ages).

I've also had better success with creating new accounts in the mobile app. I think they're more lenient on mobile app traffic as it looks more "real".

A Reddit account should be warmed up for about 1–4 weeks. Besides that, it also needs to be leveled up by farming karma. Karma is Reddit’s rating system, which includes post karma and comment karma. By posting and commenting and receiving upvotes, you farm this karma. You should aim for at least 3,000 post karma and 300 comment karma. With these numbers, you can usually start posting any content for OFM without issues. However, there are still many other nuances

There is no set amount of time. That's not the only factor, or a big factor at all. It's about appearing to be genuine all the time.

I highly suggest that you buy a high quality reddit account (that can access in any ip) then you should warm up 2 to 3 days (like normal users do but do not post and comment within 2 to 3 days) once you warm up, you can post and comment. Take note you will do this with good content.
