Hi everyone,

I’ve been building software solutions for a while now (mostly automation, data tools, and integrations) and lately I’ve been curious about the B2B SaaS space.

I’m not looking for anyone’s “secret formula,” but I’d love to hear your thoughts on:
  • What B2B problems you think are still waiting for a good SaaS solution
  • What industries or niches you feel are underserved right now
  • Any lessons you’ve learned from starting or scaling a B2B SaaS (even small ones!)

I’m exploring different directions and just trying to understand how experienced builders here approach finding solid ideas.

If you were starting from scratch today, how would you approach researching a profitable B2B SaaS niche?

Looking forward to hearing your insights.

There are no empty niches there.
Just explore the market and make it better and cheaper than existing solutions.

So is there no longer an untapped gold mine that could earn you incredible money? Have all the niches already been found?

I've been involved with organic SaaS growth for many years and would like to help.

  • AI automation tools
  • AI tools that convert visuals into designs
  • It's important to launch a solid MVP, but without spending too much time on it. These days, even for a Micro-SaaS, great SaaS products are useless if there is no budget, resources, and planning for promotion.

The answer will depends on your personal preferences, niche and experience. What are your previous experiences? Maybe you can use some of your past issues and knowledge to get inspired to create a SAAS to solve something people on your niche are struggling about

Not true.

You definitely can, a friend of mine is a real world example and an og.

The AI will always give you a Grandma's ideas because is lack of human reasoning for this kind of creativity, it will always be biases (at least for now)
is AI any good at validating SaaS business ideas if you already have one. Itll tell you, "oh theres definitely a market gap for this" or "heres how you can position your SaaS". It can point to other players in the field and how you compare, suggest prices, features, etc.

Ive been using it as a second opinion but I cant help but think its market research is as biased for "success" as my own. It has steered me off some poorer feature ideas so it can bite back ig.

First, you need to find a problem that many people face.

The bigger the problem, the bigger the potential payout ceiling.

Find problems that you can solve that can save people time, money or their health and you can do wonders.
