I would like to create a signal account under an android emulator, since I am running linux can this be done within the android-studio emulator?

How strict is signal on device fingerprint and proxy? can Tor be used? does the proxy country have to match the phone number?

I can't open Signal in the simulator
I also used a cloud phone. The network connection failed when registering. I am now consulting customer service

Sounds like Chines firewall issue, you might need a VPN or signal proxy. were you able to use some a provider like smspva for the number? The cloud phone was using a data center or residential or 4G or VPN IP address?

Yes, my Signal desktop version also can't receive the QR code. I've confirmed it's an issue with the Great Firewall of China.

I used SMS-activate to get a number, then registered using Cloud Phone. I've already completed five accounts.

You are going to have to spoof some fingerprints if you plan on making those types of accounts. In addition, you will also need a 4g rotating proxy. Everytime your create an account, you have to rotate the proxy.

Its similar to email you select a provider sign up then select a client and login and you can message others encrypted using OMEMO or OTR (these have to be supported by your client) popular clients are gajim and pidgin, server providers can be found with some google search.

Would it not be fine for small scale? Without spoofing I mean, just normal android studio with 4g proxy other comment indicates this can work.
