ExoClick - Is 0.15 CPM considered normal?

Hi all,

Recently I have been monitizing a niche fetish site of mine.
This site has currently 1800 unique visitors each month, and growing consistently.
The average time spent on the site is around 3 to 4 minutes.

Most of my visitors come from the USA, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium.

To give this website a bit of support I thought I could monetize this with ExoClick.
I place non intrusive banners within the posts.

However, when I see the CPM, 0.15 cents per 1000 displays, I am hesitant to go further with ExoClick the way it's going now.
The CTR is 1%.

This leads me to three main questions.
1) Is this CPM considered normal?
2) Can I tweak ExoClick to such an extend ads will be displayed more to my niche?
3) Can anyone recommend another network, or a CPC advertisement network?

Hey, your cpm is pretty good, seems like your users are very active
I can advice Clickadu, they got higher rates than Exo most of the time

Banner ads on adult sites pay peanuts. Most of the ads you see are CPA banners. I would suggest you to either use popups (very annoying), VAST (if you have videos) or promote an offers from CrackRevenue.

You could try signing up for JuicyAds, there you can sell your own AD slots directly. But due to your traffic, you might not be getting a lot of attention though.

Got registered now with JuicyAds and waiting for JuicyAds to gather statistics.
ExoClick is now offering 0.01 CPM, even from Tier 1 countries. Shameless it is.

Focus on increasing your traffic first before asking this question.

My results with Exo:


CPM is very low...95% of the traffic is Tier 1.I also look for better alternative

Those are good number (views and clicks).
CPM is horrible. I bet the advertisers will pay loads more then this, I'd be surprised if they pay less then 0.50 cents CPM.
I really think this shows me enough to never think of ExoClick again.

Yeah mate,CPM is damn horrible..and again this traffic is 95% Tier 1 GEOs..It is what it is...

I can definitely relate to your situation. Let me break down a few things for you:

1. Is $0.15 CPM normal for ExoClick?
Yes, for banner ads on niche adult sites, $0.10–$0.20 CPM is quite common, especially with international traffic. For high-tier countries like the US, UK, and Germany, it should ideally be closer to $0.50 or more. Since your traffic is highly targeted, you might be under-monetizing.

2.Other networks to try:
AdMaven: They have high CPMs for pop ads and push notifications, especially for traffic from the US, UK, and CA.

You can maybe try popads. I used to have $1 to $2 cpm when I had adult websites.

I am using 300x250 banner, pre-lander with questions and then redirect to offer.

(This is my first time running an ExoClick/adult campaign, so sorry for the noob numbers.)

Man only u and god know what the offer itself is...If not getting enough clicks on the offer the funnel/lander is not good.Try change the prelander...or even get rid of it....

That CTR is high if it's adult site ad, you can see even from screenshots shared in this thread that folks get .25% CTR for adult sites.
