So, my like website, was receiving tons of traffic until recently. Now if you click the like button for any content, it shows up in your news feed like it usually would, except none of it actually links to anything. Now the whole point of these sites is to have your links show up on their profile, is it not?
I thought my facebook application ID was banned, so I made a new one and replaced it. Still same thing. I made a new page on the same domain, this time using the iframe like button code, instead of the fbml code. And I had the same issue.
Facebook developer forum was useless as usual, I saw people with the same mistakes. I emailed facebook support, and this is what I get:
A few popular websites have had this happen to them. I've replied asking them to restore it, etc. Let's see how things work out...

The Like button is designed to make your website more social and allow users to share substantive content with their friends. Websites without content will still be able to implement the Like button, but the resulting story will not result in a link to the website, as user behavior indicates they are liking a concept rather than substantive content on a website.
