metrics ain’t bad for a .xyz DA 17, PA 37, low spam, decent trust. backlink profile got 59 quality links which ain’t nothing. if it’s aged and had past traction, could def be flipped or rebuilt. if reg cost cheap, hold it. u might revive or sell later.

I think this is a MOZ invention, but - as we all know - google only coincidentally agrees with the inventions of 3rd part tools like MOZ, and from experience I know that - of all big 3rd party tools - MOZ's metrics are the crappiest, so I'm not sure what those "quality links" are. We would have to see them I think...

fair q’s. trust I gauge from combo spam score low, anchor profile clean, no churn domains or junk TLDs linking in. not just DA/PA. for links, I eyeball ref domains: are they indexed, niche-relevant, not link farms? tools like szilla help but manual check always needed. moz metrics alone ain’t gospel.

This domain seem aged, clean and has backlinks. Of course it costs something.
The question is if you're motivated enough to market it.
I mean if you want only to click a button to submit it for sale, then it's low chance of selling it for good money. Because some platform sell it for you.

But if you will actively sell it: direct contact to potential buyers, make a gig on fiverr that's adjusted for only selling this site, put a banner on the site itself that you're selling it, linkedin, and many other options (for more options, ask chatgpt, but not only! try to think yourself how you can sell it, because chatgpt often advice boring, almost stupid, options)
Then you significantly increase your chances of selling it for good money .

Just as with selling a car. If you do it yourself, bargain, wait enough, some might offer you way more, than if you went to local car market and said "here's my car, sell it for me". Of course they will undercut by taking portion for doing the sale + undercut even more + sometimes (very rarely of course) even try to scam like selling for a friend for pennies and saying "ah, it wasn't worth anything, so I sold to the first client".

P.S. In the beginning I said "it has backlinks" assuming that you understand that spam backlinks doesn't count. If it doesn't have any real backlinks, then just put it on auction. Without real backlinks it doesn't worth your time.

.xyz is not $1. Maybe on promo offer for the first year - yes, but it renews for $11.18 (minimum)

Hehe, I always see it on NC for $0.99. Never registered to know the renewal price. And most of the churn and burn projects that use .xyz domains only use them for less than a year or so.

Probably that's why google's sandbox exists. To weed out such 1-year-and-less projects on cheap TLD domains.
This makes OP's domain more valuable as it gets traffic, which means google no more considers it churn&burn.

This was am freebie site before, good reviews on the internet, yes, they are okies links.

You are right, i think i should build something on it, then get soem organic clicks, then i can expect a good price for it.
