A small suggestion marketplace / WTB should be streamlined with different levels of sellers

Example:
seller level 1 can sell only product or services priced upto $50
seller level 2 can sell products or services upto $500
seller level 3 can sell products or services upto $1000

The level upgrade can be made based on the time/years spend on forum or credibility from previous business made in forum

This will create barrier to quick scam on high ticket sales

So if i have a service which costs $500 then i won't be able to sell here if i am new? I have to sell random services to gain access to lvl 2?

Don't get upset
What I meant is there should be some entry barrier to sell high ticket items in forum or marketplace

If you are in level 1 you can sell items priced $50 in package or trails
$50 for 3 days for few days or month in forum to gain credibility then you can offer $500 package later

From the lack of response, I'm thinking that this isn't a very popular idea. In a way, this would be akin to raising the seller fees, which is something that's been brought up a few times before. Here is the last time it was broached.

As we've said before several times, it's really the buyer's responsibility to do due diligence when they're looking to make a purchase in the Marketplace or in Hire a Freelancer/Want to Buy. If someone is asking a high price, then the buyer should be asking to use Escrow or a payment method where they can potentially get their money back if things go south.

I do want to say that we do appreciate you taking the time to make this suggestion. Sometimes new features, ideas or rule changes spawn out of the most unlikely places.
