I run a trailer website. It started indexing pages on April 15, 2025. Currently, it has 570 keywords globally (according to SEMrush), with 61.9K impressions on Google Search Console (GSC). However, it only has 62 clicks, resulting in a very low click-through rate. Is this because my website has low authority, or because my keyword rankings are not high enough? I would like to know what I can do (PS: I have been building backlinks, though the number is very small, and my DR is 9 on Ahrefs).

I would like to express my gratitude in advance to everyone who has helped me.

Low DR does play a role, but I think the bigger issue is probably position. I’d focus on optimizing meta titles and descriptions to boost CTR and keep build backlinks slowly. Also try checking which queries are bringing impressions and target the ones you’re close to ranking top 10 for.

What can I do for keywords that rank higher?

Use MangoTools or SEranking to find best keywords, MangoTools give 5 free querys day and SEranking give 3 free querys per day, find for low KD keywords and long tail.
Create a SILO > Pilar(1)+Clusters(3-5) to create a Semantic
Send backlink best backlinks to Pilar article, and some backlinks to clusters = Semantic Power !

Sounds like your keywords are ranking low on page 1 or page 2 impressions without clicks usually means visibility without strong positions.

Low DR and few backlinks definitely contribute, but improving meta titles + building authority can help lift both CTR and rankings.

Keep pushing!

Most likely a mix of both,
I'm assuming that most of your pages are not ranking as well (page 2+),
So, if your on-page is on-point, it's due to low authority, you simply need more links

It’s mostly weak rankings low CTR usually means you're not on page one. DR 9 won’t help much, so keep building quality backlinks and focus on optimizing titles/meta to boost clicks.
