I got a backlink buyer recently asking me for a guestpost on my website. I posted a link and got money later. After awhile, he sent me money before me doing any work. I then posted his post(although slightly late this time).

The 3rd time he ask me to post multiple links and I posted all except one and explained why. He accepted my reasons. I didn't receive money for two weeks, so I removed them after checking my account daily to see if it's received.

Then he start asking me to reinstate the posts promising he would pay the money. He also made like a dummy account(he thinks I don't know lol) to ask me for guestposting again.

I already blocked and ignore but half of me is saying there is money to be made thoughts?

No, he's probably trying to get the remaining links for free. If he truly wants the links, then he would have been paid. But he didn't.

Sounds like he's testing boundaries or stalling payment on purpose . If he's shady now, he'll likely be worse later. Trust your gut better to lose one buyer than deal with a headache .

First and foremost, if you have received two orders from him, there’s a possibility that he may place more orders in the future, especially since you were late with the delivery the second time, even though he sent you the payment upfront.

Additionally, if he created a dummy account, there’s a higher likelihood that he is testing you for his sake more like he is playing with you

We cannot say anything surely because you are the one who interacted with him and did a deal twice

I don't think you have dealt with many people yet, especially for long-term business, so you may not understand the buyer's perspective behind doing things.

It's similar to how you're commenting on every other user's thread about review copies, wasting their time just to inflate your message count. You don't reply to their direct messages or show any real interest in obtaining review copies; instead, you just leave comments to boost your stats.

I have mentioned above already. There are various types of customers. You just need to understand how to manage and deal with it

Congrats on getting your payment. Now you can make new links for him, but still ask him not to delay the payment because your supplier keeps pressuring you for the payment, or something like that.

He paid twice, and delayed only the 3rd time, which seems to me like he is a reseller for links and he may not have gotten paid by his client and thus created a mess where he is now putting extra efforts. I would recommend you should give him/her a third chance as well.

If you feel like the situation is going nowhere, or the buyer is just testing you without serious intentions, be patient and stop if necessary. You don't have to continue with a transaction that isn't working or that shows signs of being untrustworthy.
