Let me explain: YouTube is the biggest search engine out there. So what these gurus decide was am not making money from affiliate marketing offers or product I would just strictly focus on making videos claiming that a make money from affiliate marketing and product.

DO YOU SEE THE PLAY HERE?

Facts. They turned the method into the monetization itself.

This has been a thing for years.

99% of the time courses are bullshit. Don't ever pay for a course.

Many creators now focus on *selling the dream* instead of actually doing affiliate marketing. YouTube rewards flashy thumbnails and exaggerated claims, making it hard for real earners to stand out. Has this shift hurt legit money-making paths? Or just exposed what truly works? Thoughts?

I agree. Most of the courses are just free information regurgitated and maybe 'game-ified' to make it seem special or elite.

I've heard Youtube is also looking to change monetization for AI-only content channels in an effort to knock some of the lower quality channels back a step or two.

I say it has. Look at Dropshipping everyone knows the secret AliExpress.

Time moves forward. New technology, new methods, first innovative eventually saturated. It will happen with almost any field. Though I do think the grifter count hopefully reaches a ceiling soon.

It's been like this for at least a decade. First it was 'easy money with a blog' then affiliate marketing then dropshipping and now AI.
The mediocre crowd in IM is all thanks to YT gurus.

Now Gurus are claiming to make $10000 per week.

Gshit is the most despicable company on earth. They destroyed who knows how many good things and people's living. All because the lack of competition.

It's because everyone is still using Google so the have a monopoly on us.

Yeah, they figured selling the dream is more profitable than the hustle itself  “Watch me get rich showing you how to get rich” is the new product lol

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. It’s like some of these “gurus” gave up on actually doing affiliate marketing and just make money talking about it instead.

They realized there’s more money in selling the dream than doing the work. And with YouTube being a huge search engine, it’s the perfect place to cash in on that traffic.

Nothing wrong with sharing experience, but a lot of it is recycled hype with no real proof behind it. Gotta be careful who you listen to.
