Hi :) here for Local SEO

Hi everyone

Nice to meet you.
I am a 38 yr old translator (for as long as thatll last), and exactly because thats not likely to last me very much longer and I have a husband and 3 little kiddos depending on me, I started learning about alternative things I could learn from scratch and do from home, and landed on local SEO. Thats some 2 years ago now, and I now have 15 pretty decent sites with solid on page (and growing off page) SEO.

Im not US based so inevitably when the time came for GBP I found myself thrown for a loop, but was recommended by several people to sign up here and network for ideas how to get around this massive roadblock, so here I am

Im looking forward to learning much more about how to optimize my sites and one day escaping the looming dangers of AI in my profession

You know the whole AI pulling all youve worked for away from under your feet is really daunting in itself, but if my SEO plans work out I think I'll end being better off for it

AI shaking up entire industries is scary but it’s awesome that you’re already taking control and building something of your own
