How to Check Your X Ads Account Status (and What It Means)
Useful guide for anyone launching ads on X (formerly Twitter)

Spoiler: How to check your account status

1. Go to → https://ads.x.com/​
2. Press F12 to open developer tools
   

   
3. Switch to the Network tab
   

   
4. In the filter box, type "perspective", then press F5 to reload the page
   

   
5. Click on the only available entry named "perspective", go to the Preview tab
   

   
6. Expand all triangles under Data → ACCOUNT and find the field "approval_status" — this shows your current account status.​

What affects your account status?​

• Adding a payment card to your account
• Launching an ad campaign
• Submitting an appeal
• Providing documents to Twitter support

Typical Scenarios​

You added a payment card
The account may receive one of these four statuses:

• AUTO_APPROVED — If certain conditions are met, ads run without moderation
• VERIFIED — Same, allows running ads with no checks
• SILENTLY_UNDER_REVIEW — Manual review required; Twitter expects a fully completed profile
• SILENTLY_REJECTED — Rejected, ads immediately get HALTED

You launched your first ad campaign
What happens next depends on your initial status and profile quality:
Case 1:

• You got AUTO_APPROVED or VERIFIED
• Bio completed according to niche
• Relevant avatar and banner set
• 1–3 tweets on-topic, ideally with links
• Passed "hidden" checks (account looks active and real)

→ Ads likely run instantly without manual review
Case 2:

• You got AUTO_APPROVED or VERIFIED, but:
• No tweets
• Empty bio
• Default or missing avatar/banner
• Did not pass "hidden" checks

→ Status may drop to UNDER_REVIEW
→ First campaign will go through manual moderation
Case 3:

• Got SILENTLY_UNDER_REVIEW right after card added
• Manual review required from the start

To pass:

• Complete your profile (banner, bio)
• Post 2–3 tweets with relevant links
• Ensure your account doesn’t look fake or temporary

All Possible X Ads Account Statuses​

• AUTO_APPROVED — Automatically approved for launching ads
• VERIFIED — Also approved, same privileges
• REJECTED — Ad access denied due to profile issues, policy violations, or poor setup. Ads won’t run until reviewed
• UNDER_REVIEW — Visible moderation. Ads will stay "Pending". A well-prepared profile may help
• SILENTLY_UNDER_REVIEW — Silent moderation. Ads go into Pending, then undergo manual review
• SILENTLY_REJECTED — Ads silently rejected. Causes include weak setup, violations. Ads blocked until status changes
• APPROVED_NOT_FAMILY_SAFE — NSFW-labeled account. Ads may have limited delivery due to content or keywords in bio
• APPROVED_GAMBLING — Verified for gambling ads. Docs confirmed
• REJECTED_ADVERTISER_NOT_VERIFIED — Advertiser not verified. Usually means no Premium (blue check) — ads can’t be launched
• APPEAL_REQUESTED — Appeal submitted after HALTED. Awaiting decision. Don’t edit profile or relaunch ads until response
• APPEAL_DECLINED — Appeal denied. Status remains rejected and cannot be changed

I keep having new accounts halted/suspended after I hit around 10-20 campaigns, they unsuspend in a week, then suspended again after I hit around the same amount of new campaigns. (sometimes I'll make new campaigns when they go into pending silent review and then they go live after 4-6 hours) how can I get these accounts to reach 50-100+ campaigns without issues? I currently have an aged account with 70k followers and 18k+ tweets that can run as many campaigns as I want. I need these new accounts to get that same kind of trust score, any advice or insight?
