Does anyone have Traffic Drops since the June 2025 updates ?

Yes, 2 of my websites drop like 50% of traffic ... adult niche :) So AI used is 0 ... but it's too early to panic :) Each time Google updates, traffic goes down after skyrocketing up ... or just stays the same ... :)

I saw a bit for traffic drop since last 3 months. google de-indexing pages (no AI, 100% human written content). IDK why? Some say its low quality content, but that's not the true case, I've some blog posts that have only 1 line of sentence and those pages are still ranking from past 5-6 years. But some posts with 3 to 4 para and quite informative were de-indexed. But when I re-submitted them, they got indexed!

Yes, I’ve noticed traffic drops across a few niche sites as well — particularly those relying on aged backlinks or aggressive anchor text strategies. While AI Overviews may not be directly responsible, it seems the June/July core update has shifted weight toward backlink quality and topical relevance even more than before.

Some observations from my end:

  • Parasite SEO pages with weak backlink foundations are taking hits.
  • PBN links and low-engagement guest posts seem to have lost power.
  • Niche edits from outdated or irrelevant content are performing worse.
  • Sites with naturally earned backlinks (e.g., through branded mentions, editorial links) are staying more stable.

It feels like Google is now putting more weight on link context and freshness, not just DR or ******** status.

Looking forward to hearing what others have seen too — happy to compare notes as your investigation progresses.

Traffic drops no but i have one well backlinked site and one not. Both were ranking page one. guess which one tanked to page 4-5 on the first week, so fustrating.

I noticed a competitor went out of his way to take most of his pbn links and just add the brand name on them

I personally seen massive jumps in traffic for couple of my sites.
