What do you use to send so you can tell if the emails were opened?
Do y keep warmup? i may suggest do it if not, and from warmup tool y can also have a idea of how much percent of mails goes to spamGoing to spam and not getting delivered. I am trying again with 5 new domains and taking a VPS and see how it goes.
SMTP tools like Gammadyne, Ultramiler, Sendblaster etc have this feature to know open rates. What do you use to send so you can tell if the emails were opened?
Yes. But as soon as we cross limit of daily from more than 50 gradually, it starts going bad from there.Do y keep warmup? i may suggest do it if not, and from warmup tool y can also have a idea of how much percent of mails goes to spam
it used to be a perfect setup: 1 VPS with Mailwiz and a few IPs and domains, but then spam traps got more advanced. No matter how many keywords you spin and make the content different, logic always remains the same, which makes hit and run strategy almost impossible now.I was using VPS with mailwizz. Deliverability issues started last year and it continued dropping. I used to use one domain to send maximum 10k.
I tried bulk gmail account set up with mergo and warmed up slowly but accounts which I had bought were getting cancelled by gmail and then I used workspace which also got blocked.
Hi highly interesting post, when you mention the last note on cold-email outreach for now. You say "rotate sending IPs and identities if needed". Could you elaborate, with rotating sending I.P's are you referring to purchasing a new I.P on the VPS hosting the email-client. Is this effective, my concern lies with the fingerprinting of the VPS hostname, or will the change in MX records resolution to fresh I.P be enough.Yeah this is the wall a lot of ppl hit now Cold email isn’t dead but it’s under way more pressure ESPs and filters got smarter and B2C cold is extra brutal. Main diff between spam and cold is consent + intent Cold email follows laws like CAN-SPAM or GDPR and is sent 1 to 1 with value Spam is bulk blasts with no opt-in no personalization no care
If every email lands in spam it's usually from:
– bad domain rep
– poor warmup
– generic copy
– dirty list
– no SPF DKIM DMARC
– links flagged or trigger words
For cold email now:
– use aged domains
– warm up slowly with inbox tools like Instantly or Mailreach
– go plain text
– use custom tracking domains
– segment lists tight
– rotate sending IPs and identities if needed
B2C is tough yes but not impossible if you go soft with intro value no links and build convo over time Otherwise go SMS or push or build your own owned list via SEO or ads for more control. Mass blasting = dead. Smart outreach = still alive.
Bulk email headaches almost always come down to one of three things: authentication, reputation, or list quality. In that order.
First check authentication. Run one of your sending domains through mail-tester.com and see what score you get. If you're below 9/10, your SPF, DKIM, or DMARC has an issue. Fix that before touching anything else. Most people skip this step and spend weeks "optimizing content" when the real problem is a missing DNS record.
Second is reputation. New IPs and domains have zero trust with Gmail and Outlook. You can't just spin up a fresh server and blast 10K emails. Warmup for 3-4 weeks minimum, starting at 5-10 emails per day and gradually ramping up. Any shortcut here gets you blacklisted within days.
Third is list quality. If your bounce rate goes above 2% you're actively burning reputation with every send. Always verify lists with EmailListVerify, Debounce, or similar before sending, even if the leads are fresh. Dead addresses accumulate faster than most people realize.
What's the exact symptom you're seeing? Emails going to spam, getting blocked entirely, throttled by your provider, or bouncing at high rates? The fix depends on which one.
