I would like to suggest that if any dispute arises against a seller, their BST thread should be closed, and a comment should be added by stating:

“A dispute is currently active against this seller. Please exercise caution when dealing with them.”

This will help protect future buyers.

Locking the thread is one thing but making that comment, before a DR thread is completed, is prejudicial.

The current rule is that the accused is not allowed to conduct any further business until the dispute is resolved. If we find them ignoring this, depending on the situation, they could get a warning that takes them one step closer to an account ban or it happens right then and there.

We're currently looking at the entire dispute process, but I don't expect this part to change much as it really isn't a huge problem.
