Hi, is there any Google update going on?
As I have seen a lot of GBP reviews getting deleted from my clients profile
How to get them back?

Yes, there’s likely a Google update or spam filter rollout affecting GBP reviews. You can contact Google Support and request a manual review if they were legitimate.

Yes, there may be a Google update or spam filter change affecting GBP reviews. Many users are reporting sudden review removals. If the reviews follow Google’s guidelines, you can contact Google Support and request a reinstatement through the “Report a Problem” link or GBP Help Center.

Oh I didn't knew we can do that
I will try it

Yeah, looks like Google’s running a silent spam filter update on GBP reviews — lots getting wiped lately.

Mostly hitting reviews with: Repetitive text, Same IP/location clusters, No profile history on reviewer accounts
Getting them back is tough you can try appealing via GBP support, but success is low unless the reviews were legit and from active accounts.

Best move: focus on fresh, natural-looking reviews, spaced out, different IPs/devices. Don’t blast too many at once right now.

At least you should have deleted the Ask ChatGPT

What is the success rate for this?
Coz for reinstating the profile they take months so I am a bit doubtful

The success rate for reinstating removed Google Business Profile (GBP) reviews is generally low and inconsistent, even if the reviews meet Google's guidelines. Estimated success rate: 10–30%, depending on the situation.

If important reviews are being removed, you can try submitting a request to Google support and explaining the situation.

Google sometimes removes reviews that violate their policies or come from suspicious accounts.

Check if the reviews were genuine and followed the guidelines. If you believe they were wrongly deleted, you can contact Google Support through the GMB dashboard and explain the issue.

To prevent future problems, encourage clients to leave reviews organically and avoid any review manipulation.

how where these accounts created because that is the cause in most situation they were create with same ip or was leaving some footprints

Might be that, but can we get it back? Some of them were legit as well

Yes, there’s currently a quiet filter hitting GBP reviews, no official update from Google, but many accounts are seeing legit reviews disappear.

The most common triggers are clustered timing, similar content, shared IP/device footprints, and lack of reviewer history. Even if some reviews were genuine, they likely got swept up in the same purge.

If they followed guidelines, your only real shot is to open a reinstatement request via GBP support. That said, success rates are low, maybe 10–30%, so best approach is to tighten your process and make future reviews look as organic as possible (diverse sources, time delay, varied language, no profile overlap).

Yes got it
What about legit?
Google sucks at providing support

This is really insightful — hadn’t realized that clustered timing and reviewer footprint could also lead to removals. For legit reviews, I guess the only play is manual appeal, though the low success rate makes it tricky. Curious if anyone here has seen any success with reinstating legit reviews recently?

I am also curious to see if someone's reviews got reinstated
