Sup Gs, hope you're doing well! I need some advice on how to properly set up a "mother" account.

I'm based in Europe but want to target a US audience. I understand that content plays a major role in reaching that audience, but when it comes to account setup, I'm not sure about the best approach. Should I buy an existing US account and use pc US proxy, or would it be better to use a mobile or residential US proxy and create a new Instagram account through that?

Thanks in advance for your help! Cheers

If you're aiming for long-term stability, go with a clean setup using a US mobile or residential proxy and create the account fresh. This helps avoid footprint issues.

Buying an aged US account can work too, but it's riskier unless it’s super clean. Either way, make sure your content and engagement feel native to a US audience.

Buy a US Based Account and use a US Based Proxy, And Post Content which related to US Audience

The login from the new account is the vital part; the audience will get content based off of the things you are posting.

thanks makes total sense. Should i use a mobile proxy and run the main account from the phone or get a pc proxy and run the main account from the pc etc.? Cheers

okayy, so i should strictly ''americanize'' the content while engaging with other american accounts, is that correct? thanks!

Make sure your device/browser fingerprint looks clean and natural. Also, keep your content and engagement geo specific with the US to help the algorithm place you right.

Does it make a difference if the account is run from a PC with a proxy versus a mobile device with a proxy?

I created mine with US proxy and US SIM, been running smooth for weeks.

If you're going for a solid mother setup and want to keep things low-risk, it's better to just create the IG account yourself using a US mobile proxy. That way, you're in full control from day 1.

@saferidge @shijin Thanks for your replies Gs. It is worth it buying US accounts, or is it better just starting from scratch? cheers

For running m/c you need a good setup with mobile proxy and antidetect browser. Post constantly and don't do more than 200 actions/day and should be fine . Is still risky as after some time IG may still catch some child accounts and ban them so make sure you have a supply of accounts

What about using IAM with proxies etc.?

I used to target us from europe and found the most important thing is to create an account using a us mobile/resi proxy + clean device. Then let the account rest for 3-5 days before starting to warm up gently

What about using automation tools to manage multiple IG accounts, with one proxy per account, and resetting the metadata and fingerprint for each photo or reel? Like changing each file's metadata, adjusting things like file size, reel duration, brightness, etc. to make the content appear more unique rather than direct duplicates. And of course, limit daily actions and vary upload times to better mimic natural user behavior. How is this setup? thanks

Makes sense! What about the SIM card, does it actually matter? Or could I just skip it and use Wi-Fi with a proxy instead? Or should i just get a whatever sim card and use a residential proxy 4g/5g? Cheers

Sim card is very important, wifi can reveal IP address, should not use wifi, use 5g proxy

should the sim card be US sim card or it can be also a EU sim card and work your way up to US audience?
